I had the pleasure of attending Bliss N Eso’s performance in Salt Lake City, UT earlier this month and instantly became a fan. The trio, American MC Bliss (Jonathan Notley), Australian MC Eso (Max MacKinnon) and DJ Izm (Tarik Ejjamai) of Moroccan heritage are one of the biggest triple threats (and some of the nicest guys) I have seen in Hip Hop. Bliss and Eso wow the crowd with their amazing lyrics and super high energy performance while Izm (one of the best DJs I have seen) tears up the turntables. Watching them perform took me back to the old school days of hip hop when all the elements (beat boxing, free-styling, turntablism, etc.) were combined to give the crowd a true experience. If you have not had a chance to check these guys out I highly recommend you do!
